Our service area for economy dumpsters are limited to an 8-mi service area, while the 20, 30, and 40 cubic yard dumpsters are limited to a 10-mi service area. Service Area is calculated by using Google Maps using the directions from 4201 Florin Perkins Road, Sacramento, CA 95826 to the address you provide us. The shortest distance listed by Google is what we use to calculate our service area.  Map shown is for illustration purposes only and may not reflect the actual service availability.

Loading the Dumpster

When loading your GreenWaste Discount Residential Dumpster, ensure that the level of the load remains below the rim of the dumpster container, with nothing protruding over the sides. This is essential to allow our driver to safely tarp the dumpster. If the driver cannot properly tarp the dumpster, they will be unable to remove it.

Timeframe of Delivery and Pickup / Removal

Delivery: We provide customers with a convenient three-hour delivery window for the dumpster. We strongly recommend that customers be on-site during delivery to ensure proper placement. To secure your preferred delivery date and time, we recommend ordering 2-3 days in advance. However, if you require service the next day, we can accommodate that as well, depending on availability. In some cases, same-day service may be arranged, subject to availability.

Pickup/Removal: The timing for pickup or removal will vary depending on the type of dumpster you’ve rented. Should you need to extend the rental period, we offer the option to do so at a low cost per day.

Do Not Overload Discount Residential Dumpster

Please refrain from placing materials above the sides of the dumpster. Overfilling will result in a minimum $90 fee.  The driver must be able to safely transport the dumpster.

Dry Run Charge

To ensure a smooth pick-up, do not block the container on the scheduled pick-up day. If you need to change the pick-up date, please contact our office at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so, or if our driver encounters issues like a schedule change or blockage, a dry run fee ($90) will be applied.

Damage to Pavement

Customers are responsible for any damage to driveways, asphalt, lawns, sidewalks, etc., caused by our service. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a safe area for our trucks to operate. We recommend using plywood under the box placement area.

Use of Equipment

The debris box remains the property of GreenWaste. Customers are responsible for any loss or damage resulting from their handling of our box, except for normal wear and tear. Customers must not move or alter the debris box and should take reasonable precautions to prevent others from doing so. The debris box should only be used for its intended purpose. Customers are 100% responsible for all items placed into the dumpster. Our terms and conditions are emailed to all customers and require an Adobe Signature. Failure to sign our terms and conditions may result in a service delay. Use of the dumpster implies full acceptance of our terms and conditions. Customers ordering online receive a link to our terms and conditions. Customers can request a copy by calling our office. It is recommended to use a tarp to cover the dumpster during rainfall, as no discounts for water weight are offered. Our disposal sites do not provide discounts for water weight.

Materials Not Accepted in Discount Residential Dumpsters

Customers are responsible for ensuring that only acceptable waste is delivered to the GreenWaste Florin Perkins Resource Recovery Facility. The following is a partial list of prohibited wastes for disposal. Additionally, other materials may be deemed unacceptable at GreenWaste’s discretion. If unacceptable wastes are detected and rejected for disposal, customers retain responsibility for these materials. If unacceptable wastes are disposed of, customers are liable for legal disposal and may face prosecution and termination of disposal services. Please refrain from disposing of these materials in our dumpsters, as they can pose environmental and safety risks.

• Loose yard waste exceeding ½ cubic yard (branches and brush are acceptable)
• Food waste
• Household hazardous waste
• Asbestos
• Oil and chemicals
• Lacquer
• Paint thinner
• Wood stain
• Liquid-based substances, such as household cleaners
• Contaminated soils and absorbents
• Pesticides
• HAZMAT materials
• Anything flammable
• Wet paint
• Oil
• Gasoline
• Propane
• Mercury-based materials
• Appliances with associated liquids (AC units and refrigerators are acceptable if placed nearest to the dumpster doors, additional charges may apply)
• Oil filters
• Batteries (of any type)
• Treated wood waste
• Fluorescent bulbs
• Lithium-Ion batteries
• Medical infectious waste, defined as:
• Materials used in medicine
• Items in contact with bodily fluids
• Animal carcasses or body parts
• Dialysis waste
• Hospital blood bags
• Human blood
• Blood-soaked fabrics
• Unused or expired drugs and prescriptions
• Used needles and sharps

This dumpster is for clean concrete and or asphalt only.  A mixture of concrete and asphalt is acceptable. Any other debris, such as dirt, clay brick of any color, plastic, or trash, would result in this dumpster being identified and charged as trash.
