Multi-family Residential Services

Standard Services | Residents of Multi-family complexes in Carmel-by-the-Sea receive weekly collection service of garbage and recyclable materials.

Additional Services | Your multi-family complex may be eligible to participate in a clean yard trimmings program and additional services may also be available to you for an additional charge including collection of bulky items.

Important Collection Information

Payment for Services | Services for recyclable material and garbage collection are paid by the property manager directly. Customer Service is only able to make service level changes at the request of the property manager. If you are interested in obtaining a different size cart for recyclable materials or garbage, you must contact your property manager directly.

Holiday Observance | Collection will not occur on New Year’s Day (January 1st), Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November) or Christmas Day (December 25th). If an observed holiday falls on a normal collection day, collection for the remainder of the week will be delayed by one day. The normal collection schedule will resume the following week.
