GreenWaste’s Colored Mulch is produced from recycled-content lumber at our resource recovery facilities. Primarily consisting of Douglas Fir lumber, this lumber has been sorted, ground, screened, and dyed to create the the perfect mulch for your needs.  Mulch is colored using an organic, water-based pigment that is durable and attractive. Mulch can be applied at any time of the year and during any time of the day. Mulching for weed suppression and moisture retention is best done before the spring growing season. All GreenWaste mulches are LEED approved.

Mini mulch is 3/8” to ½” in size, and an excellent product for placing around plants where it can help retain moisture, control weeds, and help prevent erosion.

Medium mulch is 1/2” x 1/2”, easy to apply, and does not generate much dust.
