What is the GreenWaste mobile app?
The GreenWaste mobile app helps users manage their waste disposal and recycling needs efficiently. It provides information on waste collection schedules, recycling guidelines, and more.
How do I download the GreenWaste app?
You can download the GreenWaste app from the App Store for iOS devices or the Google Play Store for Android devices. Ensure your device meets the minimum requirements: iOS 14+ for iOS users and Android 7+ for Android users.
I can’t download the app. What should I do?
Check Internet Connectivity: Ensure your device is connected to a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
Verify Device Requirements: Confirm that your device meets the app’s minimum requirements (iOS 14+ for iOS users and Android 7+ for Android users).
Further Assistance: If the issue persists, contact your cell phone provider for additional support.
How do I log in to my account?
If you have an account created on our website, please note that these credentials WILL NOT work on the GreenWaste mobile app. You will need to sign up again to create a new account directly through the app. Simply enter your new username and password on the login screen to get started.
What if I am serviced by GreenWaste but my address does not show up in the app?
We can add your address to the app! Please contact our customer service team at customerservice@greenwaste.com.
How do I clear the cache on my device?
Android:
Open Settings and navigate to “Apps” or “Applications.”
Select the app for which you want to clear the cache.
Tap on “Storage” or “Storage & cache.”
Tap “Clear Cache” to remove the cached data.
iOS:
iOS handles cache management automatically, but if you want to force it, you can delete the app and reinstall it.
The app is crashing. Can you help?
Restart Device: Try restarting your device.
Update App: Ensure the app is updated to the latest version.
Clear Cache: Follow the steps above to clear the cache (Android only).
Reinstall App: If the issue persists, delete the app and reinstall it. Contact Customer Service at customerservice@greenwaste.com if the issue persists.
How do I reset my password?
Open the app and navigate to the login screen and then tap “Forgot Password” and follow the instructions to reset your password.
Steps:
Click forgot password.
Then enter your email.
You will receive an OTP via email.
Enter the OTP.
Set a new password.
Sign In again.
How do I update the app?
iOS: Open the App Store, go to “Updates,” and update the GreenWaste app.
Android: Open the Google Play Store, go to “My apps & games,” and update the GreenWaste app.
How do I find my waste collection schedule?
On the homepage of the app, you can click the “Service Day” section to open a calendar-view of your upcoming collection days.
How do I report a missed collection?
On the homepage of the app, you can click on the “Service Request” button to specify the service needed and fill out the “Missed Pickup” form.
