2024 Golf Tournament Non-Profit Honorees

This year, GreenWaste will be presenting donations to two foundations at the dinner:

• Environmental Research & Education Foundation (EREF): EREF works to advance scientific research and create educational pathways that enable innovation in sustainable waste management practices by providing quality and technically beneficial online courses, live webinars and in-person Regional Summits for members of the solid waste industry as well as individuals and organizations interested in increasing their awareness of solid waste research and development to improve and excel in their professional or academic field as well as maintain professional licensing.  For more information, visit http://www.erefdn.org/continuing-education/.

• The Santa Visits Alviso Foundation (SVAF): SVAF provides scholarships to first-generation college students from the Alviso community in San Jose. SVAF follows students throughout their entire college career from acceptance to graduation to ensure students get the education and training they need to succeed. When students need extra support, SVAF is there to help them achieve their goals of higher education. Operating since the 1980s, and since 2006, SVAF has awarded over $1,000,000 in scholarship funds.
