Garbage collection

Residents are provided a 10, 20, 35, 64 or 96-gallon garbage cart for service. Carts must be placed curbside by 5:30am for collection. Rates are available by viewing them in the Scotts Valley Rates section.

Recycling collection

Residents are provided one 64-gallon wheeled cart for recyclables. Recycling includes single stream recycling.

Yard Trimmings collection

Residents now have Yard Trimmings service available at no additional cost and are included with the refuse service. Residents are provided a 64-gallon wheeled cart. If you have not participated in the Yard Trimmings program in the past and would like to obtain information on this program please view the recycle guide under outreach materials on the Scotts Valley main page.
