Scotts Valley is a community with History. Scotts Valley was named after Hiram Scott who purchased Rancho San Augustin, including the Valley, in 1850. Scotts Valley was incorporated in 1966.

As of May 1, 2007 GreenWaste Recovery, Inc. has been providing services to the residents and businesses of Scotts Valley. GreenWaste Recovery continues to provide excellent services and we enjoy being a part of the City of Scotts valley community.
