Additional Collection Services

Extra Materials:  Collection of extra materials and/or special items may require permission from the authorized account holder and/or property manager. Extra materials or special items approved for set-out must be placed out in accordance with the set-out instructions detailed below.

  • Extra recyclable materials may be set-out in  plastic bags (labeled recyclables) and cardboard in tied and secure bundles (no larger than 3’ x 3’) next to your recyclable materials container(s). Prior to setting out extra recyclables, you must make payment arrangements or get advance approval from the authorized account holder and/or property manager.
  • Extra garbage may be set out in 32-gallon plastic bags next to your garbage container. Prior to setting out extra garbage, you must make payment arrangements or get advance approval from the authorized account holder and/or property manager.

Household Batteries:  Household batteries including AA, AAA, C, D, 6-volt, 9-volt, camera batteries, nickel cadmium and lithium ion may be accepted for collection. Please tape the top of 9-volt rectangular batteries and 6-volt square-base batteries with spring terminals. Button-cell coin-shaped batteries are NOT accepted.

Cart Customers | Please place your household batteries in a clear Ziploc-type bag and set the bag on top (not inside) of your recyclable materials cart.

Bin Customers | Batteries may NOT be placed out for collection.

Bulky-item Collection | Your complex may be eligible to participate in a complex-wide collection event for bulky items that are in good condition including appliances, furniture, clothing, large eWaste and other reusable or recyclable items. Please contact your authorized account holder and/or property manager for additional information.

e-Waste Collection: Many small eWaste items are accepted in the recyclable materials container. For items that do not fit inside your container and/or televisions, computer monitors and computers that may contain lead and/or mercury, must be collected as a bulky item. For more information or to schedule collection, please contact Customer Service.   

Holiday Tree Collection. During the first two (2) collection weeks of each year, residents may place un-flocked and undecorated holiday trees curbside for collection on the normal collection day. Trees must be cut into sections no larger than 6’ and placed next to the collection containers. To schedule your holiday tree collection, please contact Customer Service 24 hours in advance to your normal collection day.
